Toyama clan

The Toyama clan (toyamahan) is clan of Kaga Domain in the clan with the territory partially of Etchu (roughly supernatural river valley). The clan agency is a Toyama castle (Toyama city). Toyama Prefecture was set up dividing four counties in Etchu again in May, 1883, and the area in present Toyama Prefecture was fixed though it was amalgamated once in April, 1876 by Ishikawa Prefecture.

薬の元祖　役ノ行者について　

役ノ行者は、聖徳太子薨去（こうきょ）１４年目、時の帝舒明天皇（３４代）即位６年正月元旦、大和国葛上郡茅原郷、高賀茂家邸宅（現在の御所市茅原吉祥草寺）に御誕生、幼名を小角（おずぬ）と呼ばれ修験道の開祖てある。

　賀茂族は、葛城地方の豪族であり葛城山麓に居住、高賀茂の姓を賜わり、司霊者であると共に護国の名族であった。

　当時の大和には、三輪山麓に住む三輪族があり、賀茂族も共に出雲族で、大和に移住し、三輪氏は三輪神社に大国主を祀り　賀茂氏は葛城高嶋神社に、その子の阿遅鉏高日子根（あじすきたかひこね）を、そして其の後御所鴨都波（かもつは）神社にその弟の事代主（ことしろぬし）を奉斉され、大国主は親神であり阿遅鉏高日子根は開墾豊穣の神で、事代主は神霊を司る神であり、この神を祖神とする賀茂氏は祖神の栄光に誇りを以ってこの地方を支配ていたのである。

　役ノ小角は、斯うした大豪族の名門に母、白専女（しらたらめ）が夢のお告げで懐妊遊ばされ（舒明天皇５年３月２８日）「虚空にー物あり、形は金杵の如く光明赫（こうめいかがやき）たり、遍（あまね）く十方を照し展転（てんてん）し降って口に入る」と依って翌６年正月元旦　大邸宅の産室に出生されたのである。

役ノ小角は、その少年時代は一般の子供と違い７才にして叔父願行より孔雀明王の神呪を相傳禀け、１０才の春には元興寺に入り慧灌僧正より得度受戒（とくどじゅかい）、佛法を学び１６才にして葛城山に３年間練行を重ね、１９才より大峯の連山にわけ入り苦修練行を続けられ葛城、大峯６年間に亘って神を求め更に２２才の夏には生駒山南麓、鳴川の秘境（現在の元山上）に於て御修行２４才の時には法力を以って、藤原鎌足の病を全快に導き斉明天皇の４年４月５日に（２５才）箕面山の滝窟に於て龍樹菩薩より灌頂（かんじょう）の秘法を禀けられ、全国を回峯して山に祈り万民を救わんが為の祈誓を捧げられ最後に母の恩に報わんが為、大峯山上に干塔婆を建立して供養の後、大宝元年６月７日御年６８才を以って箕面山天上ヶ岳より昇天されたと伝えられて居る。
